Glenn’s guitar influences include: Jimmy Page, Alex Lifeson, Gary Moore, Michael
Jimi Hendrix, Dave Gilmour, Ritchie Blackmore, Van Halen and Yngwie Malmsteen.
He started playing the guitar aged 12 years old. Initially self-taught, after a short
time he could
master classic songs from legendary rock bands, such as Led Zeppelin, Rush and Deep
Aged 16 he joined his first covers rock band, then progressing on to original bands,
The ‘Figgy Fox Banned’ as featured on the BBC2 documentary ‘Present Imperfect.
The TV show used one of their songs, that he composed, as the theme music to the
The song also reached No 1 in the UK. Demo chart.
Live performances followed, with tours across the UK and Europe, including venues
Manchester Apollo, Liverpool Empire and London's Brixton Academy (supporting Hawkwind).
He has also played the role of 'Gimmy Page' in the UK’s best Led Zeppelin tribute
As a songwriter he was awarded certification from the UK Song writing contest,
judged by The BRIT Trust, The Guild of International Songwriters & Composers,
The World Music Foundation and International Song Copyright Agency.
Further awards include a IMW Diploma (Merit) in audio sound engineering & production.
In 2013 he signed a publishing contract with a major USA- California based music
Alongside his songwriting, studio and live work, he now seeks opportunities to write
with a special admiration for film score writers Jerry Goldsmith and Ennio Morricone.
